Pupils' parents and art education: the importance of art education in the education of primary school pupils from the parents' point of view

This diploma thesis examines the importance of art education in the education of primary school pupils from the perspective of parents. The aim of the thesis is to describe the opinions, attitudes and ideas of parents about art education in two selected schools, the issue of communication between art teacher and parents and to implement an educational project focused on cooperation between school and parents. The theoretical part is divided into three important areas related to the topic of the thesis. The first chapter deals in detail with the subject of art education and its position in the framework educational program. It characterizes its specifics and, based on research described in the literature, describes the current status of art education among other subjects and the public's views on the subject. It also discusses the time of distance learning, when art education went through a difficult period and was rather neglected. The next part is devoted to the problems of the contemporary family and the aim is to point out the specifics of individual families, which are reflected both in the life of the pupil and in the mutual communication with the school. This master‘s thesis deals with analysis of the current system of training employees in the company ELKO EP, s.r.o. On the basis of facts the thesis provides innovation of the current staff training. Innovated system of education should lead primarily to more effective education system, improvement in the monitoring of the output of the educational activities and above all the innovated system should save the company’s expenses. The process of education in ELKO EP is one of the benefits for employees and it also plays the role of promoter for the employee motivation in their knowledge development and expansion of valuable human capital.
Analysis of the online presentation of Czech literary canon museums and expositions

This thesis deals with the presentation of the literary canon on the websites of literary museums. First of all, it was necessary to determine the canon of authors for this thesis -as a method we chose to analyse school reading lists for the Czech language and literature graduation exam from Prague public gymnasiums. We then investigated whether there is a museum dedicated to the author in question and, if so, whether this museum has its own website. In this way, we identified 16 literary museums for subsequent analysis. The websites were analyzed according to four criteria: website layout, communication with the visitor, visual style and educational programs, and educational potential. This last criterion was crucial for the next part of the research in this thesis. It was followed by two questionnaire surveys, one with respondents from among teachers of Czech language and literature in Prague gymnasiums, the other with respondents from among representatives of literary museums. Perspectives on the Media Literacy in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. A theoretical part that explains the terms used to implement the work and describes its theoretical basis, and a practical part in the form of written interviews with respondents from the field of media education. The theoretical part introduces the interview genre and describes its possible methods, approximates the requirements of media education contained in the framework educational programs and recommended expected outputs, and presents projects focused on media literacy. The practical part of the work consists of interviews with Přemysl Danda, PhDr. Jan Jirák Ph.D., Michal Kaderka and PhDr. Radim Wolák.
Educational programs for the Archevita exhibition in Central Bohemian Museum in Roztoky near Prague

The diploma thesis focuses on a museum education. The aim is to create and test its own proposals for educational programs in the Central Bohemian Museum of Roztoky near Prague. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of the museum and examines the components of museum education such as teaching methods and organizational forms of teaching. It also deals with education and presentation of archaeological cultural heritage and describes education in the Central Bohemian Museum of Roztoky near Prague. The practical part focuses on the creation of two educational programs that follow the defined theoretical principles of the first part of the work. The educational programs are intended for pupils of the sixth grade of of primary school and are implemented in the exhibition Archevita - Footprints of Ages focused on the prehistoric period. The thesis describes the creation of both programs, the definition of the target group, the description of individual activities, records and evaluates their progress. Feedback from pupils, their teachers and the educator of the Roztoky museum is used to evaluate each program. Agricultural literacy - a knowledge probe for primary schools

The master's thesis is occupied with agricultural literacy among pupils at primary schools. The topic of the thesis was chosen because of frequent underestimation, and diversion from important issues related to practical life that Czech schools should put more emphasis on and turn more attention to. The term agricultural literacy is not settled in the Czech Republic. However, in the Framework Educational Programme, some topics of agricultural issues are being touched upon. The aim of the thesis was to ascertain the level of knowledge of agricultural literacy among pupils in the fifth grade of primary schools. The literary section is devoted to the definition and explanation of the term agricultural literacy. It is concerned with the problematic attitude of an uneducated society to this subject. This part casts about for steps that could help to decrease the lack of awareness of the contemporary population. Thereafter, it is also trying to answer the question of how to deal with the constantly growing population. The beginnings of implementing agricultural topics into the teaching process are described as well. It mentions educational areas in which Czech education system includes agricultural issues. The purpose of the literary section was also to point out and highlight educational programmes that contribute to the rise of awareness, and increase the number of quality resources and materials suitable for teaching agricultural literacy. The appropriate procedures, forms and environments that encourage pupils to be more enthusiastic about diving into agricultural literacy are provided in the conclusion. The practical section of the thesis consists of the questionnaire survey methodology and elementary information about the respondents. The process of creating a suitable questionnaire, utilised to measure the survey, and the subsequent course of the measurement are elaborated in the following chapter. The overall results of the research are presented in the final part of the piece.

In the diploma thesis entitled Interdisciplinarity of FLE and history, we present the phenomenon of an interdisciplinarity approach in education. We dedicate to the interdisciplinarity in Czech and French education, especially to the interdisciplinarity od FLE and history. In the diploma thesis, we present the definition of the term « interdisciplinarity » and we characterize and analyze Czech and French educational programs - RVP, ŠVP, Le Socle commun de connaissances et de compétences and programs for the Frech college (Cycle 3 et 4). We dedicate also to the interdisciplinarity of FLE and history in FLE textbooks and in resources available online. We apply the knowledge to the unit, in which we apply the interdisciplinarity nature of FLE and history using the exemple od the Frech revolution of 1789. The objective of our thesis is to present the interdisciplinarity relations of FLE and history, or rather to present and analyze the inclusion od historical topics in FLE teaching, especially in Czech education. We have come to the conclusion that the inclusion of the interdisciplinarity in education is an integral part of Czech and French educational programs, which we can rely on in teaching. The aim of the Diploma thesis is the analysis of "The human protection during common risks and incidents" with the focus on its integration into the lessons of Citizenship and Social Sciences. It is an issue recently classified into the contents of education, and lacks of literature oriented on teaching particularities of the theme. The Diploma thesis contains the analysis of RVP (general educational schedule) for elementary and secondary schools with the focus on the given topic, and the explanation of basic terms and categories of the sphere of the human protection during common risks and incidents. The empiric part of the thesis incorporates some proposals how to layout the curriculum into the individual grades of elementary and secondary schools, including the analysis of teaching methods and teaching materials connected with this topic.
